Ads not showing even after site verification
-
I guess if this issue gets resolved, many many & many people will be grateful to Google Support, and to me!
Here’s what I have done so far:
1. Already put relevant ad spaces on some pages including my web site’s home page using the Google Adsense Plugin
2. Filled up the “ONE TIME APPLICATION” to display ads on non-hosted websites or other websites, by giving my website’s URL and submitting to Google. I have received the “THANKS for your application” message in my Adsense dashboard.
FACTS:
> Website is uploaded on the servers, it is accessible. But we have not yet made it known to public, in the sense, we are still making minor changes, uploading more stuff, and there is NO SUCH TRAFFIC as of now.
> Blank ad spaces are being shown in the respective places where we put the ads, and if we “Inspect Element” using right click in Chrome, it does show the automated Google Adsense SCRIPT that the Plugin has implemented itself.
> It has been 4-5 days since I put adspaces on the website using the plugin & applied to Google for “Ads on other websites”
MY QUESTIONS ARE:
1. Have I done ALL the required things in order to DISPLAY Google ads?
2. What does “Unknown Status” as appearing in my WP Google Adsense plugin under the “Automated Mobile Ads” section mean? I have already selected Automated Mobile Ads without any issues.
3. In my Adsense account, why is it prompting me to “Implement Code” on my website, when the Official Google Adsense Plugin for WordPress has done that by itself? (That is what the plugin is supposed to do if I’m not wrong)
4. Will I be able to see the ads only once I start getting real time traffic on a consistent basis? Till that time will Google serve only blank ads?
5. Lastly, the concept of “ALLOWING GOOGLE BOTS”- I have not made any robot.txt file for my website, cause IMO, that file is for DISALLOWING certain bots from crawling to the specific URL’s mentioned in the robot.txt file that we create and upload to the server with the website itself. So may I assume that those Google crawlers & bots are not barred from accessing my URL? (I see no error in the Webmaster Crawler view, although when I run the Testing Robot.txt file in the Webmaster, it does say BLOCKED in RED box, Idk why. Also FYI, I have no robot.txt file in my website root!)
Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you guys!
Best.
