• WordPress ads are not displaying properly on my homepage. On a regular basis, they sit right on top of the previews of my posts and make it difficult for people to view my website. I’ve contacted WordPress support but they directed me to this website and said it’s an issue with the WordPress theme. Would appreciate any help.

  • Hey there @ym1984 — that does look off. The theme’s use of absolute positioning to create the masonry layout is conflicting with the ads positioning, but I don’t see a simple way to address it.

Can you opt out of showing ads on the front/archive pages?

Hi, thank you. How do I opt out of advertising on the front pages? I was under the impression I could not opt out of WordPress ads.

Hi @ym1984, it depends on whether you are enrolled in WordAds or not; if you are there’s a setting in your dash for that.

Meanwhile, I’ve talked to our theme team and they’ve fixed it so ads won’t appear on the front page with this theme. Cheers!

I’m not enrolled in WordAds and hence don’t have the option of turning off the ads on my homepage. So I really appreciate the fix.

So glad we could help. Cheers, @ym1984!
