The Ads are not displaying on the sidebar for mobile devices. I’m not sure what to do here. Had Autoptimize activated, but deactivated and it seems that may not be the issue. Ads still do not display. Also have Cloudflare. Should I dump the Cloudflare cache too?

    Hi Tony,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I am also not seeing any traces of Advanced Ads in your news posts sidebar.
Since you’re using Elementor on your site, this tutorial might be helpful.
Clearing caches after changes to the frontend is also always recommended.

Are we talking about an image ad or a code-based advertisement like AdSense?

    Best regards,
    Henning

I may have turned off the plugin while you were looking to review. What I think is happening is an Autoptimize issue where when I turn on Autoptimize at all, even with all settings turned off (CSS, HTML, JavaScript mimnification) and other settings that help with certain issues, the mobile ads aren’t loading for some reason. And, I have Cloudflare cache issues so when I turn something on or off, sometimes it takes the site a few minutes to catch up with a change.

So, I don’t think it’s the plugin. I think it’s something with Autoptimize settings and I’m talking to Frank over there in their forums on why this is happening. Are you aware of any issues with Autoptimize?

Currently, I have Autoptimize turned off and the ads are displaying properly, so that’s good. It has to be an Autoptimize issue and conflict with Advanced Ads but just on mobile. There is one extra setting in Autoptimize that affects all the ads, but I don’t have a specific handle on that one yet. I just forgot which one it is. If there are instructions on use of Autoptimize with your plugin, let me know what they are.

Okay, so after working with Frank at Autoptimize about this issue, he pointed out that the console is showing something to do with Advanced Ads that he is concluding says the ads are not required.

I think we found the problem. Autoptimize Lazy Load feature is disabling the loading of Advanced Ads ad units. So, Frank from Autoptimize suggested I reach back out to Advanced Ads to come up with a solution for Lazy Loading those ad images. We can’t turn on Lazy Load for all our other site images unelss we can include Advanced Ad images. What do you suggest we do?

    Hi Tony

I found a relation between the Lazy Load option and your theme and suggest excluding Advanced Ads ads from the lazy loading for now as a fix. I will also look into the issue and hope to identify the origin of the issue soon.

    Best regards,
    Henning
