Ads not displaying in Preview or on live site….

  • I have followed the procedure down to the wire (watched installation also on Youtube). I cannot think of one thing I have done wrong. But I obviously have! I just created a new site on WordPress. I moved my previous blog from Blogger where I had adsense. I downloaded Advertising Manager, followed proper steps. I am using my same adsense account from blogger. However, after saving, moving my widget to sidebar, hitting Google Adsense, my ads do not show up. There is nothing even in the preview. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I really fell I am doing the steps correctly. Thoughts?

    there is some adsense code in the html of your site; you can find it if you click on ‘view’ on your browser toolbar, then ‘view source’ or similar.
    scroll down in the page until you see something like:

    google_ad_client = "ca-pub-9712345612345657";
/* leaderboard below first post */
google_ad_slot = "1234512345";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
//-->

    (numbers changed here for the forum)

    check the numbers from your browser and see if they are the ones you used for blogger.

    also, you may want to consider to ask your question at the adsense forums.
