I am running the latest version of Ad Manager on my site at blueridgechristiannews.com. However, the ads that I have assigned to groups are not showing up on the site…just a white area where the ad was to appear. In fact, a large white area where the ad was to appear on the front page pushed the content of the page way down on the site. I have the ad loaded via a shortcode that is contained in a text box in my theme that is located in the white space. I checked the shortcode and it is formatted correctly. I readjusted the box’s size to bring content back up the page, but the ad is still not appearing. In the past, I had not sized the box and the ad showed up correctly. It was working fine up until the week before Christmas and I have made no changes to the page (other than updating the theme). Can you help me figure out how to get the ads to work again and show up without re-arranging the content on my page?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Also, I have left the shortcode active so you can see where ads are supposed to appear.

    Hi pegasuspress,

    thanks for reaching out.

After looking at your site’s code, I can say with certainty that the issue is caused by some script that adds lazy loading to images. Do you know what I might refer to and which solution you are using? We are currently investigating such an issue with the WP Smush plugin.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

We have Smush loaded becaue I had been having issues with large images that had been loaded into posts. I will disable Smush and see what happens.

    Hi pegasuspress,

if Smush is the cause of the problem then we are already working on it. Please let me know if it isn’t though.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

I disabled Smush and the ads came back. I will leave it off until the conflict is solved.
