Ads keep dissappearing

    I’m using version 2.4.90 of the plugin, it’s been very sluggish trying to load the manager in the dashboard.

    The plugin also keeps removing the ad blocks from the front end of the site. The only way to restore it is to select an ad place, select an ad from that ad place, and then save the ad. For whatever reason this then restores the entire ad block on front end pages.

  • will our ads or tracking history be gone if we rollback?

    usually not, but you should rollback first on a testing environment .. just in case … ??

    btw. do anydody have a solution for thiss issue yet?

    Perhaps you have a lot of data in the statistics table. On the settings page of the plugin (tab “Tools“) set the “Keep Statistical Data” parameter to “Three Months” value. Then go to the list of Ads Places and click the “Clear statistics”. Should help.

    I just tried updating to the newer version (2.5.94.) After less than 24 hours, some of the ads started to disappear again. Primarily the ads that are placed in a template file via php code. The shortcode ads on the pages appear to be working as of now. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

    Rolling back once more to 2.3.85.

    Oh, and I tried to change the settings info from @minimus but no go.

    This problem persists for several months now. I couldn’t find any solution to this. Is there one or not?

    Otherwise I just switch to another banner ads plugin like Advanced Ads…

    owcv! Does the “Ads Place” containing disappearing ads contain some ads with the weight set to 0?

    The bug is already found. Trying to resolve it.

    Same here… again… rolling back to .85 and start looking another plugin.
    Sorry Author, it’s a pretty but not enough stable plugin for business.

    I don’t use weight for my ads, so they’re not set to 0.
    But good to hear, you found the bug.

    For two months no posts in this thread. Are you sure you have same problem and not something else?
