When I assign an individual ad to a placement, it shows up correctly, for logged-in visitors as well to anonymous.
When I add this the same ad to a group and assign the group to the same placement, it only shows up to logged-in visitors.
I tried creating new ad, group and placement, and I tried disabling other plugins as well as with a different browser.
I couldn’t find anything in the settings blocking groups to anonymous visitors.

Edit: I use PublishPress Permissions Pro, with no particular settings for ads, however disabling it fixes the issue. This still doesn’t explain why single ads are shown and groups aren’t.

    Hi magicoli69,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This issue sounds like a mysterious conflict, and I’m very grateful to you for finding out that PublishPress Permissions Pro is the cause here.

Unfortunately, I cannot explain why this error occurs and how to prevent it. I would have to reproduce the problem myself. But I can’t since this is a paid Pro plugin.

I would like to ask you to contact our support directly and refer to this thread. There I would give you access to a test page where you can install the plugin, and we can reproduce the error.

Hopefully, we can then tell you more about the problem and either solve it or tell the PublishPress Permissions Pro team about a bug.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
