    Hi deheugden,

There are two common explanations for this:

    1. your site uses some caching and you need to refresh it first
    2. you are using an ad blocker in your browser or operating system which you’d need to disable at least on your own site.

If neither of these could explain the problem then please share a link to the URL where the widget should show up and I will check out the code.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

many thanks for the reply. I disabled the add blocker in the browser, disabeled the virusscanner with ad blocking, tried different browsers but stii no Add Widget.

Also, i dont installed any cache pluing or changed something to caching.

    Hi deheugden,

On your website as well as on the single pages, I can only see the AdSense verification/ auto ads code, which is presumably injected by the enabled auto ads checkbox that you can find in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense.

But there is no ad injection in the sidebar, just the photos and the tweets.

Can you please open the ad unit and enable the debug mode? If any conditions prevent the ad from showing, you should be able to see them in the frontend as far as the widget is present on the specific page.

many thanks for the reply and trying to help.
according to the provided link, the Debug should be enabled at the following place:
“You can find the debug mode in the Layout/Output meta box of the ad edit screen.”
the layout/output menu is available, but no AD edit screen/metabox/…

    Hi deheugden,

    Thanks for your reply.

I marked the debug mode option in my screenshot that you can find here: https://ibb.co/Lt2LsMs

Is this checkbox not available in your installation?

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @deheugden,

    Thanks for the clarification.

When you open your ad unit, is maybe the wizard active? You can find an option to close it on top of this page (“Stop Wizard and show all options”).

    Hi @deheugden,

Sorry that this is going to get a longer run.

If you don’t see neither the “enable debug mode” option nor the link to close the wizard, I am getting a bit lost. Can you upload a screenshot of this ad settings starting from the title and ending at the display conditions, please?

A recommended and free service for this is for example https://imgbb.com/upload

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @deheugden,

    Thanks for your reply.

A screenshot of the layout/output section would be great as well as a screenshot of the top of the ad edit page.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joachim
