Ads create website problems

    The Advance Ads on my homepage for my cell phone, tablet and now my desktop, are a problem. Now my website logo is missing from all my devices. The ads are all over the place on especially my iPhone. They are misplaced and leave a lot of white spaces in between posts, especially on my cell phone! The layout is a mess. Please remove your ads if you cannot respect my webpage layouts! I tried disabling them, but they won’t go away! They look fine on the desktop, except that the logo is now missing. I feel the Advanced Ads are the problem. I am trying to connect with Google AdSense thru Advanced Ads. Please fix the issues.

    Hi mdryden20,

    Thanks for sharing your problem. What you describe sounds like it could be caused by Google Auto ads.

    The AdSense “Auto ads” function can place ads automatically on your site. They decide about position, size, and number of ads.

    If you enabled Auto ads through Advanced Ads then you can remove their code in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense > Verification code & Auto ads.

    However, AdSense can also inject Auto Ads through individual ad units. You can only disable that behavior directly in your AdSense account. Go to your AdSense Dashboard > Ads > Overview > By site, then click on your website and disable Auto ads in the Ad Settings section.

    You can follow this tutorial and learn how to place AdSense ads manually on your site. This makes sure that AdSense ads will appear on positions of your choice on mobile and desktop.
