Okay if you want me to ‘buy’ a plugin or review or share that is one thing. but now here is this obnoxious perks thing showing up and even partly covering stuff on my small screen on the build a package page. I am NOT changing webhosting to suit this plugin. Why is it acting like a darn piece of adware instead of just staying quietly ignorable on the perks page?! If your leaving it there (in my way, like those things I have adblock installed to kill) I’ll look for another plugin. I know there are plenty. I liked this one. but no way am I putting up with this. We actually have a deal with a webhost and you are advertising on our client sites to move away!

  • Hey Starhorsepax2

Sorry this causing you issues… We’ll look at adding a setting for you to disable it, in the settings menu, in an upcoming release. So that you can hide it from your clients, just to note the pro version of the plugin does not contain any ads and never will…

We do rely on these types of revenue steams to help support the plugin and this is a common approach that more than half of most free wp plugins use to keep the software free. Its also very common on major software vendors that have a free product. The ads are what allow us to keep working on the free version and supporting users. I think adding a setting for you to turn off should create some common ground.

    Thanks~

I don’t usually mind ads. This one just bothered me because of where it appeared specifically. I found having it right pressed up below the packages very distracting.

I actually do use other plugins with ads. With this one it was just the location that bothered me. I’d appreciate being able to hide (or even just move) that one.

Sounds good! We’ll try to add a setting in the next few releases…

    Cheers~
