AdRotate popup won’t go away

    I updated your plugin and when in the dahboard, I can’t remove the message window, popup or whatever you may call at the window that says “Thank you for choosing AdRotate. Everything related to AdRotate Banner Manager”, and so on.

    What can I do to remove this??

    There should be a dismiss link or close button in the bottom of that message.

    The layout of the whole popup looks a bit weird. Do you use an ad blocker? Or perhaps some kind of dashboard theme?
    Try disabling that so you can properly close the popup.

    The dismiss link or close button are not visible at all.
    I don’t use adblockers. The same thing happens on Chrome, Safari and Edge.
    I’m using MacOS High Sierra with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440.

    What version of AdRotate do you use? AdRotate Banner Manager or AdRotate pro?
    What version number? 5.12.1?

    Alright. That should just work fine.
    I’ve just checked the code, just to be sure, the dismiss link is there, ready to be clicked ??
    Then tested it on my test site and it works fine.

    This is what it looks like for me:

    Notice how the layout and margins/paddings are different to what you have.
    This suggests something is messing with the paddings and overflow definition in your dashboard. If I disable those on my site it looks just like your screenshot.

    Logically this means that some of the CSS is blocked by something.
    I’m not sure what causes the layout to mess up, I’ve never seen this before. but here are some things to try.

    – Clear the browser cache
    – Clear your websites cache
    – Re-activate the plugin from the Plugins dashboard page
    – Disable any plugins or mods that alter the dashboard or that remove/clean up notifications or pointers (the popup) or things like that
