Adobe Muse to WordPress

  • Since the announcement that Adobe is quitting Muse and all support for Muse my company HQ has decided that they want me to rebuild our Muse site using wordpress. After reading some forums, it appears I don’t need to buy a wordpress.com plan IF my site is already hosted with another company. Correct?

    So what I’ve read is that I can download wordpress to my Cpanel through my current host (Arvixe) and design through that process.
    QUESTION –
    1. Does the www.remarpro.com allow me to install plugins and remove WordPress advertising and utilize google analytics? Seems only certain plans with wordpress.com have this feature so I’m just making sure.

    You’re confusing self-hosted WordPress (using software from www.remarpro.com) with hosting plans purchased from wordpress.com.

    If you already have hosting, use www.remarpro.com software and do with it as you please (subject, of course, to its licensing). You can add all the plugins you want.
