admins wont accept my theme!

  • I got this email from www.remarpro.com theme admins

    “ Thank you for submitting the Webo Pro theme, however it has not been
    selected to be part of the theme directory.

    Theme credit links are intended for the theme author and not for use to
    promote other sites.”

    as you can see I am only linking to my site webomagazine.com and www.remarpro.com

    I wrote this reply however wordpress admins have stopped answering my requests

    “Webomagazine isn’t a “real” magazine. I personally own it and I am a
    webdesinger, I designed this template and coded it. I am NOT promoting
    other sites, with the exception of www.remarpro.com.”

    Is there anyway I can talk to a admin on these forums… or get some help

  • Everything looks good as far as the specific theme is concerned.

    However, your other theme listed here:

    “Webo Magazine Pro v 1.0” doesn’t seem to have a license and has what appears to be a spammy link in the footer to a finance site.

    As stated in the rules:

    All themes are subject to review. Themes for sites that support non-GPL (or compatible) themes or violate the WordPress community guidelines themes will not be approved.

    So, even if your theme complies with the guidelines, your site also needs to comply with these guidelines with other themes you’ve released and sites you link to.

    Now, I’m not saying that’s the reason, but that’s the only thing I found out of place.
