Some of my admins automatically turned into subscribers.
It’s an odd issue. Are you sure that your website is not infected with any kind of malware? I am recommending you to scan the website by installing any of Defender Security or Wordfence. So, you can find out whether it’s causing due to any infection.
If the issue persists, you have to investigate among the plugins you installed. Especially if you are using any plugins to manage user roles. Consider deactivating all of the plugins and activating them one by one.
Also, try optimizing the database by installing plugins like WP Optimize. Hope any of these recommendations can sort out your issue. Always remember to take a backup before moving forward with these recommendations.
