    Hello,

    why can’t I see the password of a visitor with the role “Subscriber”, who can only see his user profile when logging in, although I have the role “Administrator”?

    The background is that I want to transfer this data – username, mail address and password of a user – to the protected member area of the site.

  • Hi there, you can’t see the user’s password but you can change anyone’s password if you are an administrator of the site!

    Thanks, but that’s not the point. I would have to give each user a new password, then inform them of the new password by mail and hope that they also like the password, can remember it, and it’s not too easy for them.

    That doesn’t make sense if I let the users log in themselves and then can’t transfer them to the members area with their data.
