But seriously, this was a design decision. All you have to do is edit your admin user’s membership level and they can see what you need them to.

You can also filter the pmpro_has_membership_level hook to always return true for admins.

It is quite easy to change the admin’s member level to view the content as your members do, in fact I suggest you try several levels as a test.
