• Hello everyone,

My webhost blocks the admin access to all of my websites because some IP addresses (66.155.40.xxx – seem to be from www.remarpro.com?) do too many OUT requests, exceeding the allowed limit!

Have you ever encountered this blocking problem?
if so, how did you solve it?

    Thanking you in advance.

    Best regards

    Eric

  • Hi Eric,

I haven’t encountered this, but I’d talk to your webhost and see if they can help.

    Hi Dave,

My webhost is OVH – France.
They asked me to see my plugins, nothing else!
They won’t help you at all!

    Best regards

    Eric

    You could try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

That should ensure that your site is making the minimum number of external calls required to run WordPress. If your hosts are still complaining, you need to move hosts. I suspect your hosts do not offer a service that is suitable for running WordPress.
