• The website was down. It was not possible to access it. After accessing Cpanel and the file administrator, I noticed that a document that was being requested was missing. So I downloaded the wordpress file and copied the missing file. The website came back and it was now possible to access the website, but it is all disconfigured. We tried to access the WordPress administrative panel to edit the pages, but the panel was only providing the HTML and hyperlinks present in the panel. With the panel in this way, it is not possible to access any page on the website to edit it. I would like to know how to resolve the situation.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I take it you came right, the site appears to be working on my end.

Please share the solutions for others as well who might encounter the same issue/s in future.

I understand your site’s front end is working but you have issues viewing the back end. If all you see is plain HTML, it means that other supporting files are either missing or inaccessible due to permissions or other server issues.

You said that initially a requested document was missing and you replaced it from a fresh download. That fixed your site’s front end. I’m thus led to suspect there are other files missing in your installation. I recommend that you perform a manual update (even if it’s to the same version) to ensure all necessary files are present and uncorrupted.
