administrative page blank

  • I recently transfered my wordpress page to a domain, all ran well, but a week ago I was not able to admister my dashboard, it would not recognize my password and only a blank page displayed… the hosting company tells me its wordpress problem, a corrupt file.. and that I should unistall and install again… how can i sensure this will not happen to me again? Help and guidande appreciated. Thank you.

    the issue was due to wrong configuration in option box and wordpress config file. whenever you change any hosting server – you need to change it also….

    thank you for your reply, apparently the initial configuration was ok, according to the guy whi did it for me, but kindly please explain in detail regarding the option box. I want to ensure I start my page a solid and reliable CMS, I am planning to change hosting server soon, what do I need to change? Mllion thanks!

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
