Administration over SSL

  • Hi everybody,

    I just started with WP and one of my first wish was to have the administration over SSL.

    I followed both the Administration Over SSL and the Securing WordPress 2 Admin Access With SSL procedures without success ??

    I run WP2.0.3 on a Linux box with Apache 2.0.54, PHP 3.0.18 and MySQL 4.0.12 installed from the Debian Sarge packages.

    The SSL on the web server seems to work fine: choosing the debug level for the logs I may see the transaction going good without errors, but at the end of the story I get an error in the browser “access not allowed” (I translated it from italian).

    May anybody suggest me a debug method to trace the error?

    BTW is the Invisible Institute Secure Admin Links Plugin working with WP2.0.3 ?
