Admin User Registration

    A new nuser with ADMIN priviledges was created on my site even though “anyone can register” is turned off. Does Cleantalk serurity protect from this? This is a huge vulerability. We only have 1 admin user on this site and I didn’t do it.

    Many variants are possible. Registration could be due to XSS or some other vulnerability (cms/plugin/theme). Our plugin can detect and prevent (or notify about vulnerabilities) some of them.

    We suggest you to install our plugin. After installation, run the built-in malware scanner. If you need help understanding the scan results or if the issue recurs, just let us know.
