• An admin user is missing from the list of users on our website. All the pages that were made under this user is also gone. No one on the team deleted this user so I don’t know why this would happen. I tried to have our domain provider reboot the page to a back up but they only have 30 days back for a back up and apparently this happened further back than 30 days because the admin user and pages did not resurface. I do not have back ups of the pages. Is there any way to contact WordPress to access these missing pages or admin user?

www.remarpro.com does not host your site or have any access, other than as a regular, non-logged-in user. We do not have backups. You might try archive.org’s wayback machine to see if posts were archived. If so, you can at least copy/paste the content.

It’s your responsibility as the site admin to backup your site (and don’t trust a host to do that for you). I like the plugin “backwpup” because the free version can be set to back up on schedule and store the results off-site, in a Dropbox or some other file service.

Ok thank you. Do you know why an admin user would disappear?

Because someone deleted them and did not check the button “assign this content to…”.

You’re going to say “No one on the team deleted this user” but someone probably did.
