Admin URL and site address URL not appearing within settings > general

changing the URL in the settings area is not recommended.

the procedure may vary for multi-site:

when changing to https, need to adjust for mixed content errors.
might need to search and replace in the database too

backup everything before making any changes to database tables or files.

Have tried checking https://www.yousite.com/wp-admin/network and navigating to settings and/or you can also check https://www.yousite.com/wp-admin/options and looking for siteurl

I was wondering whether there was a way of changing the site URL in the dashboard (another way of doing so as the site url isn’t appearing in settings) instead of the database files.

I don’t think I would have much to replace as I haven’t built the site yet.

I would not recommend changing URL using dashboard “settings” area.
