• It may be the newer version, but I don’t think so because I haven’t done it and no email was sent for automatic update.

Anyways, the main administrator of https://www.thethomasfamily.rocks attempted to login today, but was told his username no longer existed. I went in through phpMyAdmin to correct this thinking nothing of it.

Then when he was able to login it gave erorrs from wp-includes/posts.php, so I went in and replaced this page with a fresh one from a clean WP download. This was remedied as well.

The issue that arose, which I can not figure out is that the admin bar is just a black bar across the screen with no buttons, drop downs or even the WP logo.

This is a multi-site network and the problems were not there yesterday.

Is this due to the wordpress update?
Can I simply replace the entire wp-admin & wp-includes folders with clean copies without it affecting anything?

    Thank you for your help.
