Please consider bringing back the tabs in admin (or at least making it an option). This was a much better interface option for my clients. In fact, for my clients, I had been using “Admin Editor Pro” to remove the left admin menu Slimstat entries – giving them one click access to stats where they could simply use the tabs for the different views.

Huge step backwards in my opinion.

Which version removed the tabs so I can look at downgrading?

    Thanx for your consideration.

Tabs where confusing for many users. We removed them in version 3.5, and there is currently no plan to bring them back. Please note that SlimStat gives you an option to display the menu in the admin bar, if that works better for your clients. However you could write your own add-on that leverages our hooks, to add the tabs back to the layout ?? or ask us to develop one for you

Well it’s disappointing that you decided to turn them off. The admin bar option is not useful to me.

Thankfully, I was able to restore the tabs with a minor hack:

    Thor.worx,

we want to give our users as much flexibility as possible. You will soon be able to use a WordPress hook to ‘inject’ those tabs into your layout, instead of editing the plugin’s source code ??

    Best,
