  • Check your error logs as it might give you some clues to what’s happening. If all else fails, download and manually re-install WordPress 3.7.1 onto your local server, making sure not to overwrite wp-content directory and the wp-config.php file.

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name.

    resetting the plugins folder.

    – re-download all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Thanks. Where do I find the error logs?

Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.
