• I’ve been on the fence about this plugin for a long time; it’s convenient enough, but I always find myself having to add custom icons for networks that seem pretty standard to me. (I mean: no Spotify? Really?) And I always ended up tweaking the appearance of the icons, but whatever.

These things were annoying, but with the last update they have added a separate, unnecessary, valueless tab to the admin interface that ONLY exists to get people to sign up for their email lists and use their other plugins. No function, just marketing. NOT OKAY. Real estate in the admin page tab bar is valuable; this is a violation of your users’ trust.

I’ve had it on my list of things to do to replace this plugin with my own code for quite a while; now I’m motivated to get it done.
