Admin slowdown after 5.8 update

    Recently after upgrading WordPress 5.8, the entire Admin slowed down to like 2x-3x. It’s like something is blocking the page. After nailing down any PHP or database issues we just selectively toggled plugins until we saw the immediate slowdowns with specifically: Popup Maker – MailChimp Integration

    I see this integration runs a ton of AJAX calls, could these be blocking the page from loading?

    Thank you for reaching out!

    We haven’t received any reports about this kind of issue. I made a test on my test environment but I did not replicate the issue. The admin area loaded fine and so did the page that has the popup with MailChimp Integration.
