• I tried getting help with this a few weeks ago, but no help. I thought I would give it another shot. Hopefully someone will reply.

When I go to the Admin Section of WordPress and click the Presentation section, there is a message that says:

Wp-Default-AllSideBar Edition — Template is missing.

This is my active template and I’m trying to figure out why I get the message “template is missing”

I downloaded the Wp-Default-AllSideBar template to compare the files I have on my server with a fresh download. I hae all the same files as the download.

Anyone have any idea what this means and how to get rid of it.

    thanks
    steve

    Any Help Please

How are you uploading the files? If using ftp, one possibility is they’re being uploaded as binary, which can be an issue on some servers. I’d also suggest deleting all the files for the theme from your site and re-uploading, as another possibility is one or more was corrupted during upload.

Thanks Kafkaesqui for your input. I never thought about the binary possibility. It may be the answer.
