Admin Recording Earned Hours

  • Looking for a solution i can nest in a members only section allowing members to also become volunteers. Im in the process of implementing a members plugin and thinking i would set this plugin’s pages viewable only if you log in as a member and become a volunteer.

    I am assuming my registration form is fully customizable to my needs but i also need my Admin to record hours earned/redeemed per volunteer…restricted to Admin only. I need Event Date, Description, Hrs (+/-) and automatically capture the Admins logon ID (not editable) so we know who adjusted hours…it’s a potential issue.

    I also need a volunteer’s Event History displayed on each volunteers profile with a current total for them and Admin to see.

    Can this system do this or at least some?

    The plugin will get you close, but this kind of detail will require the creation of a custom element to handle your work log. The plugin has several callback filters that allow you to add this kind of functionality in your theme or as an auxiliary plugin.

    Check out the Plugin API for some background on how that could be done.
