Admin Profile Image

    Hi.
    Recently, I noticed that the image changed on my admin profile when I login to my website. I didn’t change it. I don’t know what happened….so I double checked my gravatar image that I had signed up with WordPress with. That image was still the original one. How can this be? Has anyone ever heard of having this issue? It’s not that big a deal except the new image is one of those weird unprofessional ones….I would like to change it back. Does anyone know HOW this could have happened?

  • Is that your image or someone else . If yours then you must have changed it somewhere either on gravatar or wordpress.com profile settings . Else your site might have been hacked .

    Hi Jenna. Make sure that the proper Gravatar image is set to your profile email in WordPress. If you changed your profile email (not admin email), this would cause a change in your Gravatar.

    gk2raghav, it’s not a personal image if that’s what you mean. Sorry, half asleep lol, maybe I misunderstood you.

    EngageWP, I will double check and make sure it’s set to my profile email…..lately someone hacked my regular email and some personal accounts, so was just freaking out.

    You both are awesome, thanks so much for the help. If I still have a problem, I will post later, but thank you very much!

    Sorry to be a pain, but I am confused.
    In my WordPress account, the Gravatar is still the original and the correct one. But that same Gravatar that I had linked to my profile in my business website is changed and I can’t seem to change it back still. Isn’t this weird?

    So, the original Gravatar is normal(WordPress)but my business website one is not.

    Also, I did change my Admin email address, but Not my WordPress address…..so probably someone hacked into it maybe?

    That is weird. You confirmed the email by logging into your admin account and going to Users –> Your Profile?
