    Hi @grayzen !

Can you please navigate to Business Settings > Pages area > Select the page in question > People tab and ensure that your name is listed there with the Manage Page toggle enabled?

    Thank you!

    Hi @grayzen,

I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/ and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

Once you do that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

Could you confirm if you have tried uninstalling the facebook plugin and reinstalling it again by following the guide here.

    Hello @grayzen

the snippets don’t uninstall the plugin so it should not work :/

Thank you for your feedback. Please would you explain further what you mean by this? The snippets we linked to won’t uninstall the Facebook for WooCommerce extension.

Rather, adding one of those snippets using an extension like Code Snippets should enable you to either remove the synced products from the Facebook catalog, or resync the products (depending on which snippet you use).

You will still need to uninstall, reinstall, and reconfigure the Facebook for WooCommerce extension in your WordPress dashboard before doing this.

    Thank you.

Ok the snipped is not for my needs then… I’ve never synchronized any products or catalogs in the past.
when I Follow the get started setup it keeps saying “Admin Permission Required: You don’t have permission to edit these settings”
. I contacted FB and they said I’m the admin and it should work lol how bad they are.
they requested me to contact the plugin dev so this is what I’m doing sadly …

FYI: I’ve tried to set up the plugin with another FB account in the past(with no success) but now that I changed to a different account and admin and FB page, your plugin keeps asking permission from the old account? why and how is that possible? there is no link between the old and new account/ page /person, and I’m the only admin of that page

    [Moderator note: Please, No bumping].

hello ? any solution or support ?? this is inacceptable

    Hello @grayzen ,

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting to a new Facebook account as it is asking for admin permission for an old account.

Can you please follow these steps and let me know how it goes?

    – If the extension is currently connected to an account please disconnect it.
    – Deactivate Facebook for WooCommerce plugin from Plugins > Installed Plugins page.
    – Navigate to your WordPress options page: https://your-site-address.here/wp-admin/options.php and then please clear the value for the following fields, then save the changes:

    wc_facebook_access_token
    wc_facebook_external_business_id
    wc_facebook_system_user_id
    wc_facebook_business_manager_id
    wc_facebook_commerce_merchant_settings_id
    wc_facebook_merchant_access_token
    wc_facebook_product_catalog_id
    wc_facebook_page_access_token
    wc_facebook_page_id
    wc_facebook_pixel_id

    – Activate the Facebook for WooCommerce and follow the instruction here to configure the plugin again.

Let me know if you are able to connect to your new Facebook Business Manager account.

Hi, oh my god what is this general automated answer? did you check my error message ?? the page you sent me is for: Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook!

AND MY MESSAGE IS: Something went wrong.
This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to get fixed. Try reloading this page.

    Hi @grayzen,

Sorry for the misunderstanding of the error message above. These 2 error messages often happen for some related reasons.

    Something went wrong.
This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to get fixed. Try reloading this page.

It sounds like there is a confusion still going on due to the first account you attempted to connect to.

Please ensure you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using

Next, Go to business.facebook.com > all tools > business applications. From there, uninstall the WooCommerce Integration and add it again.

Then go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again

Let us know how that goes!

    Hi there,

I have the same problem connecting Facebook to Woocommerce. Followed your instructions above (uninstall WooCommerce integration and add it again), but still have the “Something went wrong” error, when I click on “Get started”. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    The logs you shared which includes Failed to connect to Facebook. Reason: {
“message”: “This authorization code has been used.”
indicates an error that we have consistently seen within the last few days and may be something we need to investigate closely. Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to investigate and help you further there.
