Hello everyone. I’m new to all this this. I’ve managed to get WordPress installed on a free hosting GoDaddy site. Now, I can’t get the admin panel to do anything. When I click on any command, I am redirected to another part of the same panel. When I click at the new location, nothing happens. I can’t get to a page to edit the initial post on my new site. I can’t add a new post. I can’t add a page. Obviously, I’m doing something wrong.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Seems like your wp-admin and wp-includes did not upload/install correctly

Delete them and upload a fresh copy for each and try again.

Thanks. Uploaded again and everything is working. ??

    You welcome ??

There seems to be a problem with GoDaddy’s free account and WP 2.8. I have used GD free account with no problem until WP2.8. The problem is the admin not the front end. Some themes will not work with the GD free accounts new or old WP. Ad’s over run into the web pages.

Thats the whole deal with free hosting, they can put their ads where ever they like and there’s nothing you can do about.

Its not WP or the theme that is the problem.
