I setup the plugin and was testing with a single gallery.

Today I have 1373 galleries which I’ve imported into the plugin. Everything went really well, it’s all working and the plugin is handling 20,000 images beautifully.

There is one problem though in the admin area. When I click to view all of the galleries, it lists all 1373 galleries at once even though in the screen options area I have “20” per page selected.

I’m not sure why? Is there a total somewhere in the database that needs to be updated?

Not sure why that would be the case. Will investigate the issue to identify the issue.

Thanks. As you can imagine, with 1300 galleries it’s quite frustrating loading that page!

This issue seems to have corrected itself, not sure why.

    Hi Steve,

Just wanted to say thanks for the feedback. Here’s some further after looking into this.

There was a reason this would have occurred – the Heroic Galleries can be assigned a custom order to control how they appear in an archive view, so you can reorder the galleries. This can be assigned manually from editing an individual Heroic Gallery or using the custom drag and drop interface on the All Heroic Galleries list in the admin dashboard.

With the default WordPress post page limit (10 posts) it wasn’t possible to use the drag and drop interface to move a Heroic Gallery from say the last item to the first with more than 10 galleries, as the results were paginated, so the limit was removed to display all galleries at once in this list. Which obviously wasn’t ideal for people like yourself, with a large number of Heroic Galleries.

We’ve taken on board your feedback and in the latest version (v1.17+) you can now define your own post page limit from Heroic Galleries > Settings > Post Limit, so you can define a level that’s suitable for your needs.

Thanks once again for the feedback and be sure to try out the new version and let us know what you think!

    Kind Regards,

    Richard
