Admin pages slow after 3.1 upgrade, but all else is fast

    I just upgraded to 3.1 and my admin pages are extremely slow to render. All blog site seems to be working fine. I am running in a linux environment. There is a 120 second (almost to the second) delay from when I click on a link within admin until the time it renders. Seems like a timeout. I am in a pretty strict environment with firewalls, so if new outbound connections/ports are required in 3.1, then that could be an issue. Any thoughts or ideas what changes in 3.1 may be related to this behavior?

    Go to your profile page and disable the new admin navigation bar from the front end of the site.

    That worked for me, for some reason the admin bar works fine for subscribers up to editors but those with admin privileges suffer from the slow down. Hope this helps
