• we have a wordpress installation in which we have set the siteurl to foo.com/bar. The other pages on the site correctly prefix foo.com/bar to the page paths but the admin pages and ref links in them have the foo.com prefix instead of the expected foo.com/bar. How can we fix this?

  • Hi @siddjain

Please check if the ‘siteurl’ and ‘home’ both the options have same value in the options table.

yes that is correct. both are set to foo.com/bar.

May I know please, WordPress files are inside bar folder or they are on the root?

wordpress files are on /var/www/html. we have a special setup in which a request first comes to a proxy server. so request for foo.com/bar/wp-content/resource.php will come to a proxy server. this server forwards the request to wordpress and when it forwards the request it strips off the bar from the request so the request to wordpress server appears as /wp-content/resource.php and wp-content is under /var/www/html.
