admin pages don't have style applied, but others do

  • I used MAMP to setup a local development site.

    I have installed wordpress, and all is working well, except I consistently (with different sites/databases), have trouble with the admin pages.

    They don’t seem to have style applied; and I don’t think they are all working correctly either.

    Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing this to happen? It even happens on a fresh install of wordpress (locally).

    EDIT: Well now it seems to be working when I refresh it, but it wasn’t working before when I would try to refresh the window. I don’t know… confusing. but it’s working now it seems.. ???
