admin page hangs and does not enter

  • I have reset the database 3 times, reinstalled 3 times but still I get to admin login….I press login…and it hangs. Then it redirects me to a “page cannot be displayed’. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    I do not have any htpaccess file. could that be it ?
