admin – open post – showing categories in all languages

  • If add categories or custom taxonomies in many languages – in open post I see all of them. Alse new created categories in open post are created without language. I have many categories, so it is very difficult to find right. Also they can be same in many languages. I tried find solution on internet, but without success. I also accept answers with php hooks or filters.
    I can’t belive that I am only one with this big issue. This bug is in all my created homepages.

    Hello,

    You have two possibilities:
    1. Use the classic editor.
    2. Use Polylang Pro which offers this level of integration with the block editor.

    Becouse “REST API Support” not associating with categories and taxonomies.

    @chouby Is this something that’s on the radar for Polylang (free), or will Gutenberg compatibility for categories and custom taxonomies remain a Polylang Pro exclusive? (If so, you might want to add a FAQ like for WooCommerce compatibility, IMHO).

    @srakso14 A non-elegant way around this: add an ACF taxonomy field that reads from and writes to the post meta.
