• The client is receiving inquires but they aren’t going to their Inbox. Instead they are finding messages in the Sent mailbox and they are marked as read so they don’t know they have received them.

    Does this have to do with the From email being the same as the email receiving the message?

  • Post SMTP has no interaction with the receiving mail server at all.
    The client must have a filter or a server misconfiguration that is placing those emails into the sent box.
