Admin not able to access wp-admin

  • I am having issues getting to the dashboard. I am able to login but the access bar at the top doesnt have any options to access the dashboard. When I try to access it via wp-admin url, I get a message of not authorized even though I am the admin.

    Not sure how it got messed up or how to go about fixing it?

    check in the users table in the database to confirm if the username / email you are using is set up with Administrator role.

    you can normally access the database in your webhosting account in an area PHPMYADMIN.
