Admin no access in Maintenance mode

    Hi,

    When I place the website under maintenance , by default, the admin should not be affected by this rule. However with a particular website of mine this is not case. When I activate this option I cannot login anymore and I have to disable the plugin from within PHPmy admin to regain access again..

    What can be wrong?

    Other plugins I am using right now are:

    aiowps-reset-settings
    all-in-one-wp-migration
    all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall
    artbees captcha
    JS composer theme
    loco-translate
    wordpress-importer
    wordpress-reset/wordpress-reset
    wp-maximum-execution-time-exceeded

    Hi, with the plugin All In One WP….. did you by any chance enable the Rename Login Page feature under Brute Force? If you did then you need to enter the secret word to login into your site. For example yoursite.com/secretword. If you did not enable this feature try login into your site via the following URL yoursite.com/wp-login.php.

    I did enable the brute force feature. Although I checked the secret word several times something might still have gone wrong there. I changed the secret word and my problems are over.
