Admin: New Post: Category List: reverse order

When adding or editing a post, is there a way to reverse the order of the categories in the category list?

I have a photo blog and add a new category to every new event. I wish to not have to scroll down the list every time I want to set a category for the the photo.

Would also be nice if the page defaults to the latest category created when creating a new post ??
