Admin Menu not displaying

  • 1. The Admin Menu is not visible and not showing anything. WordPress Version 5.4 Admin Menu Editor 1.9.5.

    2. The Screen options at the top is also not displaying anything.

    It looks like one of the plugin files is either missing or inaccessible. The first thing I would try is to reinstall the plugin. Maybe the file simply didn’t get uploaded for some reason.

    If that doesn’t help, please verify that this file exists and can be accessed through the browser:
    /wp-content/plugins/admin-menu-editor/js/jquery.biscuit.js

    Can you confirm that the file is accessible in the browser? I’ve heard of a similar issue before where this particular file was blocked by an incorrectly configured firewall (apparently, it happened because the file had to do with browser cookies).

    I corrected this issue on my site by adding this to my wp-config.php file:

    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
