Admin-login only possible from my PC and with Firefox

  • Working on a clients site I noticed, that login with admin-account is only possible from my own computer. The client can’t login.
    I could reproduce the issue when trying to login with another browser (Chrome, IE) on my own computer.
    While login with admin account fails, login with editor account is working as it should.

    What I did for debugging:
    – deactivate all plugins
    – change the theme to twentyfifteen
    – multiproof username and password
    – create a second admin account
    The issue still remains: login possible for non-admins but impossible for admins on any computers except mine.

    I administer a lot of wordpress sites but this issue never occurs before and for one of them.
