Admin log-in troubles–page refresh, no access

  • This has been a problem plaguing me and my users since I first installed WordPress, and from hearing other complaints I fear I am not the only one.

    Sometimes when I try to log in, I enter the username and password and then the login page simply refreshes. I get no “wrong password/username” error. If I type in the wrong password I do get the error, however.

    In order to log into my dashboard I have to go back to my home page, click the login button and try again, over and over, until it finally works. I do, inevitably, get in, but sometimes it takes ten tries, and my users have complained of the same issue.

    What can I do? Anyone else experiencing this?
