Admin locked out – Password reset does not resolve it.

I got a message that my login was disabled due to the password being used in recent data breaches, and it advised me to reset my password, which I did.
New password – totally randomized and 12 characters login, did not work. I got the same message.
Went into the cPanel at my web host, and used the password reset tool for my admin account and did another password reset there with another version strong password.
Still unable to login. This feature in your plugin DOES NOT WORK as you intended. Otherwise, when I reset my password to a strong one that I’ve never used before, it would allow me to login.
Solution….
1. Disabled Wordfence by changing plugin directory name
2. Logging in.
3. Disabling the feature for “Prevent the use of passwords leaked in data breaches”.When you have fixed this feature so you can login after updating your password, I’d like to know because – if it worked… it would be a great feature.
Please fix it!
