Admin level User but cannot save many options

  • I am an admin level user and can create pages, etc. but cannot save any settings or make any changes in a vairety of plug ins.

    I keep getting redirected to a /wp-admin/options.php where it asks me “Am I sure I want to do this?” and then a link to try again. Which I click, and it reverts back to the original page.

    Had my web guys take a look but they could not see a reason for me not being allowed to update/save settings in the back end. They also created a new user for me to try, and that had the same result.

    I have also recently moved over to a new PC, but I’m 99% certain this was happening before I moved over… just hadn’t gotten around to trying to get it sorted.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Maybe try deactivating all your plugins and activate them one by one, it may be caused by plugin error or conflict.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll give it a go. (though this only appears to happen to me, not to the other administrators on the website)
