  • I have the same problem and my Comment form is now in english too.

I am having the same problem too with one of my sites. The language should be spanish, but it is showing almost all in english, even the WooCommerce pages like Checkout. That is a problem for us.

I confirm this bug. It’s a serious problem because not only affects the dashboard but also the front-end.

Same here, v4 seems unusable. $wp_locale is mostly in English instead of Dutch, and the back-end is half English, half Dutch. I’ve reverted back to 3.5 and everything works fine.

It’s worth noting that disabling “Include the search for native string functions of WordPress” in plugin options solves the problem.

yes, I confirm. Version 4.0 is not working with the latest WP and Polylang version.

I am testing WP 5.4.1, and I have a mix of languages in the front-end. When disabling the option “Include the search for native string functions of WordPress”, my translations are back again.

    Can this plugin be refreshed?

    Didier.
