    Hi Everyone,

    I have a marketplace at etnmarketplace.org.

I just set it up. I don’t think I understand how to set commissions. I want the vendors to be able to accept paypal, get paid immediately for their downloadable items, and then 7% simultaneously gets sent to admin paypal.
I have the general commissions settings on global/admin/7%. Is this right? The reason I know something is wrong is that I am testing out buying stuff from one of my vendors and the entire payment keeps getting sent to my(admin) paypal instead of only 7%. Can someone please help?? Thanks.

    HI,

Thanks for get in touch with us.

Well, there is no such possibilities right now using PayPal to pay directly into vendor account. This can be only possible using “Stripe Split Pay” option.

Between, your commission setting is right, you may set this 93% for Vendor as well.

    Thank You

So, if i set global commission 7%paid to admin, when someone buys something from their store, who gets paid, when, and how? Thanks in advance! – Greg

    HI,

If you will use Stripe Split Pay – then vendor will get 93% in their account and admin will have rest 7% in their account instantly as customer make the payment.

For other cases (PayPal, Bank Transfer etc …) total payment will store in admin’s account. 93% commission will store in vendor’s ledger.
Now, vendor has to place request for withdrawal and then on admin approval payment will be go to vendor’s account from admin account.

    Thank You
